Now that emuparadise is gone, where to get PSX eboots? So guys, now that emuparadise is sorta gone, where is the best place to download PSX eboots?

Psx To Psp Eboot Roms

Disney's Tarzan is a Platformer 2D video game published by Disney Interactive released on June 30, 1999 for the Sony PlayStation (PSX).

Feb 25, 2014 If you load a ps1 eboot from a directory (making PPSSPP think it's a directory game), it won't reject it as it should. Thedax mentioned this issue Feb 25, 2014 Add additional check to prevent PS1 EBOOTs from loading. Mar 18, 2013 Also from what I understand, PPSSPP currently isn't capable of playing converted EBOOT.PBP files for the converted PS1/PSX games. Is support for this planned? It'd be absolutely amazing to play PS1 games, especially for iOS users, as ZodTTD has neglected to update his psx4all emulator in years, so it doesn't work.

How to play on PSP:

Copy the folder containing the EBOOT.PBP to PSPGAME, note that each eboot needs to be 'in a folder', else they'll show up as corrupted data.Example Path: X:PSPGAMESCUS-94456EBOOT.PBP

Recommended Emulator:

Some 'PSX2PSP' eboots can be emulated on PC with ePSXe emulator.

Please help. PPSSPP does not run Eboot.pbp file
PPSSPP can run .ISO file with no problem. However, when I load a Eboot.pbp (Final Fantasy V) file, or drag the file, or put the file to memstick/PSP/GAME,.. it just say 'Failed to identify File'.
Any idea.

It is already stated on the FAQ that PSX eboot support will never happen, use a psx emu for that, there are plenty of them on the web (epsxe, fpse and so on).
Since English is not my first language sorry for some misspelling on my posts

Thanks, I already know that. I just don't understand why Final Fantasy V was released for PSP and PPSSPP doesn't work. Samething for eSPXe, it doesn't work either.

Games usually don´t get released as .pbp. Is it a demo of FFV or where do you got the file from?

My friend gave me that.
After doing some Google, i found some similar files and I realized that the file was converted from PSX to PSP. I just cannot understand why they have to do that, when the game was released for PSP anyway.

Just because it's running on the PSP,doesn't mean it's real PSP game and PPSSPP run only PSP games(not converted PS1 games..the conversion is not porting,it's just the game files placed inside pbp file in a spacial way)
If the PSP was unable to run PS1 games, that game won't run either

EDIT: Even if Final Fantasy V was released as PSN version, it is just an Official Eboot. Any PSP with CFW can run a psx Eboot (aka PSX converted game) aswell Any OFW with PSN games. The reason for which the game doesn't work with PPSSPP it's because it's a direct psx port, not a native PSP game (like Breath of fire III for example). Besides, the PSX version was one of the worst ports, if you are so concerned about the game look for the GBA version, since it has many bug fixes and new jobs.

Yes but it says PSone at the lower left of the cover.
It's not native PS3, PSP and PS Vita game and PPSSPP runs only native PSP games.
There is a warning message in the newer revs of PPSSPP that tells you if the game is actually PS1 game
